What An Amazing Start Brahmastra

The much-awaited Bollywood film of the year, Brahmastra, hit the screens on September 9. In fact, the film was released amidst many challenges. There was a lot of negativity riding around the movie due to various reasons.

However, it needed to surpass all these odds and become a blockbuster at the box office. After the first show of the film, people came out with mixed or negative talk. Not many viewers praised the movie. Everyone thought that another Bollywood biggie would bite the dust this year.

But when the day one collections were out on the second day, everyone is shocked. Brahmastra collected Rs. 75 crores on the first day and stunned everyone. It performed even better on the second day by earning Rs. 85 crores. On the whole, it collected a total of Rs. 160 crores in two days.

The earnings on the third day are predicted to be higher. It looks like Brahmastra may earn around Rs. 250 crores in its first weekend. This proves that the film is witnessing heavy footfalls in theatres.

People are not caring about negative reviews and boycott calls. They enjoy this visual spectacle in theatres. Films like Brahmastra need to be watched in theatres no matter how it is. That might be the reason why it has been registering such huge numbers at the box office.

Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Brahmastra features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia, and Nagarjuna Akkineni played other important roles in this fantasy drama.
