Ace director VV Vinayak who has once the sought after top director for all the big heroes has lost his position and credibility over time as he came up with some duds that jolted his career forever.
However, the director got to Khaidi No 150, thanks to Megastar Chiru and then carved out the Hindi version of Chathrapati with Bellamkonda Srinivas. That’s the story here anyway.
Apparently, the leading director of those times got infatuated with acting and there is no wrong with that. But then producer Dil Raju who bankrolled a project titled ‘Seenayya’ with him in the lead shelved the project after looking at the rushes. Whether the direction is bad, or Vinayak’s acting potential up to the mark is not known.
Reports are now coming that Vinayak got pretty upset with this happening and he now wants to make another attempt at acting. But this time, he’s turning the producer himself and directing the film as well while playing the lead role. Hope the once celebrated director is not coming up with another routine run of the mill film for his acting debut as a hero.
