One of the anticipated upcoming films in Tollywood is Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam. This mythological drama features Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. She plays the role of Shakuntala in the movie. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan plays the role of King Dushyanta.
This morning, the makers unveiled the first look poster of Dev from the movie on the occasion of his birthday. Along with the poster, the film’s production house Gunaa Team Works tweeted, “Wishing our ever-charming, valiant and handsome King #Dushyant, @ActorDevMohan a very Happy Birthday!”
Dev Mohan looks charming in royal attire, posing on a horse. He seems like a perfect fit for the role. The love story between Shakuntala and Dushyanta is the heart of Shaakuntalam and we have to see how Gunasekhar portrayed it.
Shaakuntalam got done with its shoot and currently, the post-production works are going on. The makers are planning to release the film early next year.
It is being produced by Neelima Guna. Dil Raju is presenting the project. Mani Sharma is composing the music for it.
