Varun Tej’s 13th: Controversy Is Skipped Out?

A new film of mega hero Varun Tej, which happens to be his major Bollywood debut as well, was launched other day. Tentatively called #VT13, the film is being produced by Sony Pictures and that’s the big deal. While the hint was already given that it is about a great adventure by an Indian Air Force pilot, they say that the ‘controversial’ part of this script is skipped out carefully.

Apparently, the newcomer director Shakti Pratap Singh has long back made a demo film titled “End Run” which deals with the self-taught story of the pilots who took part in Balakot Air Strikes of 2019. Using that video as a pitch, the director is said to have approached Sony Pictures but the script went through huge changes they say, removing all the references to this strike for a reason.

Back in 2019, when the Indian Government claimed that IAF has attacked Balakot inside the Pak Occupied Kasmir where they have brought down a terrorist hideout to the dust. However, various international satellite agencies claimed that nothing was attacked or bombed in that area as per their imagery.

With controversy surrounding the whole incident, in which Pak also took Capt Abhinandan Vardhaman as a captive for 3 days, the story of #VT13 to changed hugely from that, they say.
