Trailer Talk: ‘Doctor G’, The Male Gynaec Is Here

Bollywood star Ayushman Khurrana always surprises with the kind of content he comes up with. Whether it is Vicky Donor, Badai Ho or Shub Mangal Saavdhaan, he always impresses with the ‘variety’ and ‘reality’ of his films. And he comes up with “Doctor G” now, where he takes on the world of medicine and doctors.

A comedy drama, Doctor G is all about Dr Uday Gupta, who becomes a Gynaecologist due to circumstances and how people ill-treat him for being a man who will be touching the private parts of women while examining them. It’s an emotional journey albeit laced with fun and satires on the mindsets of people, especially men. Ayushman is simply superb in the lead role as he delivers it with aplomb. Shefali Shah could be seen as the head doctor and she captures our attention, while Sheebha Chaddha who played the hero’s mother is also amazing.

On the other hand, Rakul Preet Singh also played a medical student alongside Ayushman and she provides proper masala for the film with her sizzling looks in songs and lip-kissing scenes. Directed by Anubuthi Kashyap, who happens to be sister of Anurag Kashyap, the trailer promises an amazing ride of fun and emotions as the film is set for Oct 14th release.
