Chay – Parasuram’s Project On Hold Or Shelved?

From tomorrow, hero Naga Chaitanya would be attending the shooting of his upcoming film that marks the arrival of Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu into Telugu. The shooting starts at Ramoji Film City as the actor is going to wear Khaki dress for the first time as he plays the role of a young cop who gets specialized in encounter killings at the early stage of his career. Here’s an interesting snippet.

In fact, this bilingual Telugu-Tamil film of Venkat Prabhu was okayed by Chay a long time ago and it was launched too with Kriti Shetty teaming up with the hero again. But then, actually, Chay was supposed to do a film with Parasuram before this, and many expected that after Sarkaru Vari Paata release, this duo will team up. But it looks like Chay’s mind has changed after looking at SVP result as well as the fate of his own “Thank You”.

A report is doing rounds that Chay has decided to call off this project. And then he’s said to have conveyed that he can’t do ‘masala’ films right now, and only if Parasuram could come up with something special, the project will materialise. For now, Chay is looking forward to the release of Dhootha web series and wrapping Venkat Prabhu’s movie.
