3 Films, Different Genres, One Friday

In the last 45 days, Telugu cinema has witnessed only four hits, Bimbisara, Sita Ramam, Karthikeya 2, and Oke Okka Jeevitham. Around 15-20 films that were released during the same period ended up as disasters at the box office.

Last week, three notable films were released, and all of them ended up as flops. This Friday, we are going to witness another three notable releases, Krishna Vrinda Vihari, Alluri, and Dongalunnaru Jagratha.

Krishna Vrinda Vihari is a romantic comedy that features Naga Shaurya and Shirley Setia in the lead roles. This movie is targeted at the youth and family audiences. Naga Shaurya is also in dire need of a hit and has pinned a lot of hopes on this movie.

On the flip side, talented actor Sree Vishnu is coming with an out-and-out mass commercial entertainer, Alluri. He plays the role of a sincere cop in this movie. It is targeted at B and C center audiences.

Sri Simha, who made an impressive debut with Mathu Vadalara, is coming with a survival thriller named Dongalunnaru Jagratha. This movie mainly banks upon multiplex audiences.

On the whole, three films of different genres are hitting the screens this Friday, and we have to see how they fare at the box office.
