Code Name: Tiranga Trailer- Chopra Girl On Mission

Usually the action spy thrillers from Bollywood are dominated by the male actors and rarely we see female actors. Featuring in her first full length action drama, Parineeti Chopra showcases her action avatar. The trailer of ‘Code Name: Tiranga’ is out and Parineeti turns heads.

Playing the role of a Alpha One, a pseudo name for spy agent to trace the mastermind of 2001 Parliament attack. Sharad Kelkar essays terrorist Khalid Omar and the Indian RAW has been scouting for him for years. Finally the Indian intelligence sources learn that he is hiding in Turkey and Alpha One is sent to nab Omar.

The plot is a beaten to death one but Parineeti makes it worth it with her action stunts and use of guns. She is convincing and performs some stunts exceedingly well. The emotional part in action is handled effectively.

Singer Harrdy Sandhu is making his debut as an actor and there is a romantic episode between him and Parineeti that is a crucial part of the plot.

Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, ‘Code Name: Tiranga’ trailer is decent. The film is slated for release on October 14th.
