Daggubati’s Ahimsa Teaser – Outdated ‘Teja’s Mark’

One more actor is venturing into Telugu cinema from the Daggubati family. Rana’s younger brother Abhiram is marking his debut now with an upcoming Telugu film titled Ahimsa. Teja is the film’s director. RP Patnaik reunited with the director after several years to score the soundtrack for Ahimsa. The makers unveiled the film’s teaser yesterday in selected theatres. Today, they released it on Youtube.

The teaser hints us at a rural love story with a lot of action. Teja has followed the same principle in a lot of his films like Jayam, Nuvvu Nene, Ounanna Kadhanna, and a few other films. A love story set in a rural backdrop where the hero is simple and innocent, but some unforeseen circumstances push him to take up the path of violence. The industry people dub it as ‘Teja’s mark,’ but it got outdated with time.

The teaser also reveals the same. The story is set in a rural backdrop, with helpless characters and a love conflict, finally running into an action mode. Both the lead actors are good, looks wise but they are not appealing with performances. Although it is still a teaser, it should leave an impressive mark, but the video lacks the same.

Rajat Bedi, Sadha, Ravi Kale, Kamal Kamaraju, Manoj Tiger, Kalpalatha, Devi Prasad and others are a part of the film. The makers will confirm the film’s release date soon.
