Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 is a 2019 Malayalam film that was a super hit at the box office. Directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, this film featured Suraj Venjaramoodu, Soubin Shahir, and Sooraj Thelakkad in the lead roles.
The film predominantly focuses on the relationship between a father and a son and is set in a science fiction backdrop. Actor-Producer Manchu Vishnu acquired the Telugu remake rights to this movie.
Speaking at a recent media interaction, Vishnu said that the Telugu remake of Android Kunjappan might hit the floors by January next year.
He said that his father, Mohan Babu, will play the father’s role in the movie. “A prominent actor will be roped in to play the son’s role,” Vishnu added.
When asked whether he will play the son’s role, Vishnu said that he won’t as he is scared of his father. He will be producing the film. More details about it are expected to be out in the coming days.
As of now, Vishnu is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Ginna, which will hit the screens on October 21.
