Why Is Rakul Preet Not Signing Telugu Films?

Rakul Preet Singh has been staying away from the Telugu film industry for a while now. Her last Telugu film was the 2021 release Konda Polam. For the last few years, she is focusing more on Hindi films.

Rakul got her career’s major breakthrough in Tollywood. She acted in many big films alongside various star heroes in Telugu. After attaining stardom here, she shifted to Bollywood and focused more on Hindi films.

Fans are wondering when she will come back to Tollywood again. Finally, Rakul opened up on her comeback in Telugu.

Speaking in a recent Instagram fan interaction, Rakul said she will return to Telugu cinema mostly next year. “So, a lot of you ask me this question and I know I have not been able to do a Telugu film. I really love my Telugu fans. I always say that I am who I am because of the Telugu film industry. So, hopefully, something next year,” said Rakul.

Thus, we can expect a Telugu project from Rakul Preet in 2023. Meanwhile, she is currently awaiting the release of her new Hindi film Doctor G, which hits the screens tomorrow.
