FL: Menacing Prithvi From Salaar

We already know that Malayalam Superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing an important role in Prabhas-Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film Salaar. It is heard that he is playing the role of the primary antagonist.

Today, Prithviraj’s first look poster from the film was unveiled, on the occasion of his birthday. Sharing the poster, Prithviraj tweeted, “Thank you #HombaleFilms #PrashanthNeel #Prabhas and the entire team of #Salaar! #VardharajaMannaar will see you in theatres on the 28th of September 2023!”

Prithviraj looks menacing in this attire. A scar on his face, tilak on his forehand and heavy brass rings on his neck give a deadly look to him. He plays the role of Varadharaja Mannaar in the movie.

Earlier, the makers also released the first look poster of Jagapathi Babu from the film. Raja Mannaar was his character’s name.

Going by these two names, it looks like Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj might be playing the roles of father-son or brothers in the movie. We have to wait until the release to know their relation in the film.

Salaar features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. It is slated for a worldwide release on September 28, 2023.
