Ever since the film “Kantara” has released, there are many rumors about how the makers of this film would have got inspired by the film “Rangasthalam”. The central theme of the film barring the folklore element in the Kannada film is pretty close to the Sukumar directorial that featured Ram Charan in the lead. And here comes an interesting snippet.
While fans are going gaga over Rangasthalam after watching Kantara, it is now coming out that director Sukumar has recently shared his idea for a sequel of Rangasthalam with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The character played by Ram Charan in the end of the movie actually kills Prakash Raj and leaves the village. From there, Sukumar is said to have chalked a new idea for the journey of Chitti Babu, and it is sounding pretty intriguing if reports are to be believed.
Though Sukumar has some other commitments including a film with Vijay Devarakonda after wrapping Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun, it is now coming out that he might go for a movie with Ram Charan after wrapping his current project. And that could be “Rangasthalam 2” as well, as the potential of such massy and rustic village drops at the box office and the image of Charan after RRR have grown manifold.
Meanwhile, Sukumar is getting ready to go to sets for Pushpa 2 while Ram Charan is residing in Rajahmundry already, wrapping the shoot of Shankar’s #RC15.
