Hero Manchu Vishnu and director Sree Vaitla delivered the super hit film Dhee in 2007. Last year, they announced a sequel to it, titled D & D (Double Dose). However, the film didn’t go on the floors till now.
At a point, it was rumoured that the film got shelved as well. Neither Sreenu Vaitla nor Vishnu responded to these rumours.
Recently, Vishnu participated in a Q and A session with fans. During the interaction, he was asked about his next project. Vishnu said that he is doing his next project with Sreenu Vaitla.
When another user asked if there are plans of making Dhee’s sequel, Vishnu said that his film with Vaitla will not be a sequel.
So, Vishnu confirmed that the film with Sreenu Vaitla will not be Dhee’s sequel. So, is the sequel shelved? The actor didn’t give clarity about this.
As of now, Vishnu is prepping for the release of his next film Ginna, which hits the screens on October 21. Payal Rajput and Sunny Leone are playing the female leads in it.
