Talk: Devarakonda’s Next With Ram Charan’s Story

The stunning success of “RRR” at the global box office has changed the way Ram Charan takes up his next projects. As the Rajamouli directorial went on to become a stupendous hit, now Charan is looking forward to doing films that will be made on a massive scale like that of #RC15 being directed by S Shankar. And that made him put his supposed next with Jersey fame director Gautham Tinnanuri on the back burner. 

After the failure of the Hindi version of Jersey, the chances of Gautham Tinnanuri directing Ram Charan have further come down due to various reasons. Though the director maintained that his film with the mega hero is very much on, it has recently come out that the project got canceled. And now, reports are doing rounds that Gautham narrated the same feel-good romantic comedy to Vijay Devarakonda and got it approved in a single sitting. 

According to the grapevine, Vijay D is said to have decided to go with a couple of love stories rather than doing mass films like “Liger” which are not sure whether they will click at the box office. As love stories are his forte and movies like Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam always worked for him, he is confident about Siva Nirvana’s Kushi now and will be taking up Gautham Tinnanuri’s films once he wraps this ongoing film. 

For now, nothing is official about this project, though Film Nagar reports are very strong that the story rejected by Ram Charan is now accepted by Vijay Devarakonda. Watch this space for interesting updates.
