From a time, everyone in Tollywood is worried if Sankranthi 2023 is goin to be that ‘mega’ fight that will shake up the box office. As expected, it looks like no star hero is ready to back out and four big stars of the south are getting ready to lock horns with each other at the box office. Now that Balayya’s director has confirmed their arrival, the fight just turned out to be official.
Director Gopichand Malineni confirmed on Friday during the title announcement of “Veera Simha Reddy” that fans are going to have a blast for this Sankranthi inside theatres. Already Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 154th film “Waltair Veerayya” is aiming for Jan 12th, 2023 and it is coming out that Balayya’s film will be hitting cinemas on 13th of the month. Though not coming on the same day, this is going to be one epic clash of Chiru and Balayya after a long time, reminding us of the Narasimha Naidu and Mrigaraju clash days.
Similarly, we have Prabhas’ “Adipurush” set for a release on 12th, while Vijay’s Telugu-Tamil film “Varasudu” will be hitting cinemas on 13th. In just two days span, we have four biggies, that have Chiru, Balayya, Prabhas and Vijay in the leads, getting ready to blast at the Tollywood box office.
Though the big producers of these ventures (same producer for Chiru & Balayya’s films) keep saying that box office can accommodate four biggies easily during Sankranthi, only the ones that get superb talk will sustain and others will suffer.
