Users across India have experienced issues like not working, app crashing and so on. With WhatsApp going down, the users erupted in a meme fest on social media and in minutes over five lakh tweets and comments poured down.
In their first reaction, Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp acknowledged the outage in the app and added that their engineers are working on it and will resolve the matter at the earliest.
