Indians across the world are proudly celebrating Rishi Sunak’s anointment as the British Prime Minister. Rishi has scripted history by becoming the first non-white and Hindu prime minister of the Great Britain. Along with Rishi, his wife and Infosys billionaire Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy’s daughter Akshata Murty is also hogging the limelight in the media and on social media.

Just to reiterate the craze, on October 26th (Wednesday) alone, a massive 200 crore people took to Google and searched about Rishi and Akshata. On Monday, over 1 lakh searches were made on Akshata Murthy’s name. And more than 2 million search queries were registered on Rishi Sunak’s name on Google.

And on Twitter, nearly 6,80,000 tweets have been posted by Twitterati since October 24. Interestingly, most of these searches and social media posts were made on Rishi Sunak’s religion, age, and also his dietary preferences amid the controversy of Rishi’s beef eating choice.
