Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the star heroines in the South film industry. The actress is currently busy with the promotion works of her next film titled Yashoda. There are a lot of rumors about the actress being ill. Samantha maintained silence until now but she has finally opened up on her health condition.
Sharing a picture of hers from the dubbing studio, the actress wrote a caption where she revealed that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis.
“I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realizing that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.” she revealed.
There is no cure for any of the forms of myositis. It is the name for a group of rare conditions. Myositis means inflammation of the muscles that you use to move your body. An injury, infection, or autoimmune disease can cause it.
Samantha is undergoing a treatment already and we hope that she recovers soon.
Samantha was last seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She has Yashoda and Shakuntalam lined up for a release.
