Yesterday, actress Samantha took to social media and made a shocking revelation about her health condition. Sam revealed that she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition called Myositis. The Yashoda star also said that she has been undergoing treatment and that doctors are confident that she will make a full recovery soon.
Needless to say, fans and film industry colleagues were deeply concerned about Samantha’s health after her post. Within no time, ‘get well soon’ and ‘stay strong’ messages went viral on social media. Several close friends anxiously reached out to Samantha in person and enquired about her health.
Popular celebrities like Chiranjeevi, NTR, Akhil Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah, Rakul Preet Singh, Keerthy Suresh, Ram, Dulquer Salmaan, Nani, directors Vamshi Paidipally, Raj and DK and several others took to social media and drenched Sam with a flood of ‘get well soon’ and ‘lots of love’ messages.
Samantha will soon wrap up the post production formalities for her upcoming movies, Yashoda and the mythological magnus opus, Shaakuntalam. Whether or not the actress will take part in their promotions remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Sam has postponed the shooting schedules of Kushi and her Hollywood debut film, Arrangements of Love.
