One of the most stunning successes in recent times is scored by none other than Rishab Shetty’s “Kantara”. The film was declared a Superhit almost 4 weeks ago, and still it is continuing to mint huge bucks at the box office. While the Hindi version is racing ahead to score an unstoppable half-century, it is now facing criticism too.
After collecting some amazing numbers that crossed 300 Crs Groos worldwide, Kantara’s Hindi version collection has touched a whopping ₹45+ crores nett from the Bollywood box office.
Though the likes of Akshay Kumar’s Ramsetu and Ajay Devgan’s Thank God gave heavy competition to the film, this South film carved by Rishab Shetty remained the favourite of the masses.
However, Bollywood folks are right now opining that Kantara is being overrated by the PR team of the movie, while Ramsetu is the real film that spoke about something like a bridge constructed by Lord Rama to invade Lanka.
While Kantara will be scoring a half-century by the next weekend for sure, Bollywood folks are right now feeling that even the popular critics of the Hindi Film Industry are promoting Kantara big time rather than Ramsetu. Though we cannot completely agree with these statements and comments, Kantara is getting applauded by the mass audience big time for the portrayal of double entendre romance, divinity and the final god wins on the ghosts kinds of concept.
