Before Acharya, Koratala Siva used to be one of the few directors in Tollywood who had a 100% success rate. But since Acharya, things turned upside down for this talented filmmaker. He didn’t promote Acharya aggressively ahead of its release.
After its release, the film garnered unanimous negative talk from the audience. Post-Acharya’s release, Koratala went into the underground and didn’t face the media at all.
On the flip side, Chiranjeevi indirectly shifted the blame to Koratala whenever he spoke about Acharya’s failure. He did it multiple times, especially during the promotions of Godfather. Still, Koratala remained silent and didn’t respond to any statements made about him.
During Acharya, Koratala announced a film with Allu Arjun. But we now hear that it is shelved. Earlier this year, he announced a project with Jr NTR. Tentatively called NTR 30, this film was supposed to hit the floors by now. For the last few weeks, it is being rumoured that NTR 30 is shelved as well. Condemning the rumours, the sources close to the film’s team stated the other day that Koratala has ramped up the pre-production works along with DOP Ratnavelu and production designer Sabu Cyril.
It is high time for Koratala to break this silence. He is a top director and these rumours are damaging his reputation. His fans and well-wishers are now hoping for him to break the silence and respond to the ongoing rumours.
