Buzz: Vijay Devarakonda To Star In DDLJ Remake?

The flop show of “Liger” has affected the image of sensational star Vijay Devarakonda in a big way, but he isn’t short of offers. While the actor got only “Kushi” in Telugu now and is in talks with the likes of Parshuram and Gowtham Tinnanuri for his next, it is coming out that he signed a couple of big Bollywood projects too. And we’re hearing that one of them is big and more sensational than anyone expected.

It has come out that apparently, Yash Raj Films wants to do a film with Vijay Devarakonda now. As they say that they want to do him a romantic comedy for them, a rumour is doing rounds that it might be the remake of the iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

From a long time, the film’s director and producer, Aditya Chopra is said to be contemplating making a new generation DDLJ. Earlier he was expected to do the same, but he came up with Befikre instead.

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is an iconic film that launched the career of Aditya Chopra as a big director in Bollywood and it turned out Shahrukh Khan from a small-time hero into a big superstar.

Though fans of the film and fans of SRK will not be happy if at all this happens as they want King Khan’s son Aryan to star in it, the current news is that YRF wants to remake it with Vijay. Let’s see if any of this turns out to be true.
