We all know how big a disaster Acharya was. The collections led to many differences and controversies, and compensations. Megastar Chiru vented out his dissatisfaction about Acharya many a time without taking the name. Be it his godfather-related interview or be it any other movie event, Chiru did not hesitate to call his own acharya a disaster. While everyone was appreciating his honesty, Chiru’s blame on the director alone did not go well with many.
Chiranjeevi mentioned a lot about Acharya, but Ram Charan never said a word about the movie anywhere. He finally opened up about it at a national media event last night and for the first time.
Ram Charan attended the Hindustan times national event along with Akshay Kumar. While speaking about the good content and good filmmaking, Ram Charan denounced Acharya that he acted in a ‘small’ film in a guest appearance after RRR. He said nobody came to see that movie though it was right after RRR.
Reiterating that only movies with content will be watched and accoladed, Ram charan recalled acting in this movie, without taking its name. ‘We have to change the whole game from the script level to the making level. Nobody can stop a good script, exhibitors and everybody has to play their part to make a film a success, he said.
At least Ram Charan did not say anything beyond that the movie did not have good content. It looks like Acharya’s result has severely hurt Chiru and Ram Charan, more than what we have seen.
