RRR is one of the biggest blockbusters in the country. The impact of RRR on the audiences is such that everyone demanded that RRR be sent as India’s official entry for the Oscars. However, the Indian Film Federation has picked a Gujarathi film. However, team RRR has applied individually and got an entry into the Oscars race. Director Rajamouli is currently very busy campaigning for the film in Hollywood.
Last night, he was in Chicago, the most populous city in the U.S. state of Illinois. Interacting with the crowd and press, Rajamouli dropped a juicy update on the sequel of RRR.
A lot of Indian fans have already asked Rajamouli if he is working on the sequel. Rajamouli never responded positively but only mentioned that he might think about it if he thinks of any conflict that could fit the bill perfectly.
Now, reacting to the same question, Rajamouli gave a positive answer. “My father, Vijayendra Prasad, who works for all my films as a story writer, is currently working on a couple of ideas. Yes, we are discussing about it,” said Rajamouli, without denying the plans of the sequel.
Ram Charan and Jr NTR played the lead roles in the film. A lot of filmmakers and movie lovers from the West have loved the film and are demanding an immediate sequel.
Rajamouli, who is known for his top-notch filmmaking, might definitely announce a sequel as soon as he cracks the idea for the project.
On the other hand, his next film is with Superstar Mahesh Babu.
