After impressing the audience with a film like “Naandhi”, still Allari Naresh is unable to consolidate his position at the box office. Though his films are most safe projects once upon a time, he lost the market due to picking up some bad and routine movies. The arrival of TV shows like Jabardasth has further affected his box office range.
This week, Naresh will be hitting the cinemas with the film ‘Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam’ which is about people of a village who have to utilise their right to vote in the election. While the film is a serious one, the actor hopes that it will become a stunning treat inside theatres. However, it’s not easy for the talented hero as two threats are looming large and might upset him if the first-day talk of his film is not good.
‘Love Today’ is a super hit in Tamil already and Dil Raju is releasing the Telugu dubbed version of the same this Friday. At the same time, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya is looking quite promising for their horror-comedy premise and stunning visual effects along with the heroine’s glamour treat. Allu Arvind is releasing the Telugu version of this movie as Thodelu. These two movies, which are backed by two big producers, are posing a huge threat to Naresh’s film now.
Anyway, it’s the talk of the film that actually matters and if positive talk comes out on Day 1, surely any big film in the opposite theatre would not be a hurdle. Let’s hope Naresh rocks.
