Ever since the trailer of Rohit Shetty’s latest movie “Cirkus” which features Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez in the leads has arrived, there is this talk going on in film circles that south’s leading composer Devi Sri Prasad delivered his best for this movie. And that led to Telugu folks trolling him that he’s focusing more on Bollywood now rather than Waltair Veerayya and other films here.
To be honest, DSP is not the lone composer for Cirkus as T-Series will never engage just one composer for a single movie. Along with DSP, even Lijo George and DJ Chethas, and Baadshah have scored music for the movie Cirkus, while the background score will be composed by someone else. Literally, DSP is giving only a couple of songs, so there is nothing to worry about that he’s focusing only on Bollywood projects now.
On the other hand, no matter how many criticised the first single, #BossParty from Waltair Veerayya, the song stood in the No.1 charts of many musical apps right now, and that explains the magic that Devi Sri Prasad could create with his work. At the same time, hope the composer’s Bollywood work also gets stupendous recognition.
