As there are no release slots from next Friday, more than 10 Telugu films were released yesterday. The list includes notable films like Mukhachitram, Gurthunda Seethakalam and Panchatantram Sadly, none of them managed to impress the audience.
HIT: The Second Case, which was released last week, continued its dominance at the box office. It had beaten all new releases and remained the top-grosser on Friday.
Starring Adivi Sesh, HIT 2 was released on December 2. Since the first day, the film garnered positive talk from the audience and is earning good numbers at the box office.
As none of the new releases managed to get extraordinary mouth-talk, audiences preferred watching HIT 2 in theatres. It is expected to continue its dominance till next Friday as well.
Already, HIT 2 crossed the breakeven mark and is termed the super hit at the box office. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, this investigative thriller featured Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Suhas, Harshavardhan, Rao Ramesh and Komalee Prasad bankrolled the project. Natural Star Nani and Prashanthi Tipirneni bankrolled the project under their banner Wall Poster Cinema.
