Babu’s Charity With Unreleased Film Collection

Suresh Babu On Narappa Theatrical Release
Suresh Babu On Narappa Theatrical Release

These are the days when some producers are releasing decade old movies of star heroes and getting good collections at the box office. From Pokiri to Aadi, many films saw a release and enthralled the fans another time. However, ace producer Suresh Babu is bringing one film of his brother Venkatesh to theatres, which actually never saw a theatrical release.

During the covid times, Suresh Babu has opted for a direct OTT release of Venkatesh’s “Narappa” movie which happens to be a remake of Danush’s Asuran movie. They have sold the total film to Amazon Prime Video for a humongous price. However, now Suresh Babu is said to have convinced the OTT giant for a theatrical release and Narappa is set for a release next week.

Talking about the same, Suresh Babu has today revealed that Amazon agreed to the theatrical release of the movie and even declined to take shares in the collections of the film that are likely to come. Looking at that, now Babu is said to have decided to send the total collection of the film to charity. That’s a good move indeed as most of the producers are also doing the same. Narappa is releasing on December 13th, only for a day in theatres on the eve of senior hero Venkatesh’s birthday.

On the other hand, Suresh Babu is hoping that those who want to see Narappa like experience on the silver screen will be rushing to theatres now as that is a film which needs to be felt in theatres but not on any OTT platform.
