Ace producer Suresh Babu has for the first time opened against the ‘Active Producers Guild’ other day and stated that he’s not convinced with the way some happenings took place in recent times. At the same time, Suresh is not with the Telugu film lovers who have made a wild proposal recently regarding Sankranthi clashes. Here goes it.
Condemning that increasing ticket prices for all the films will make middle-class keep away from theatres, Suresh Babu criticised the decision taken by Film folks under Chiranjeevi’s leadership who have met AP CM YS Jagan for hiking ticket prices. However, regarding the latest Tamil film releases at Telugu BO, Suresh stated that every producer is selfish here and they want their films to do well, but wouldn’t think about the industry.
“Telugu folks should not feel the urge to ban Tamil films during festivals or anything like that though. Because Tamilnadu folks have given a huge number of theatres for the likes of Baahubali 2 and RRR. If we propose the need to stop their releases now, later that will have an irreversible negative impact” said Suresh Babu, who scorned the idea that Varisu and Thunivu Sankranthi releases should be halted or limited.
While Suresh Babu’s words might hurt some Telugu folks for his brutal sincerity, surely they are making sense.
