Legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away in the wee hours today. He breathed his last due to age related ailments. Kaikala had been unwell for sometime and was hospitalised couple of times recently. Though he was discharged from hospital and returned home, his age related issues had continued.
Born on 25 July, 1935 in Kavutaram in Krishna district which was British India, he has started his acting career at the very early age. He went onto act in several movies. He acted as villain, character roles and several mythological and folklore films. He acted in over 750 films. He was honoured with prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award.
Kaikala was close to veteran actor NTR. He joined politics and won as Lok Sabha MP from Machilipatnam constituency on TDP ticket. He represented the 11th Lok Sabha. Kaikala won several awards including Nandi. He has four children.
