Arvind Calls Anupama A Daughter, Fans Call Him ‘Mamayya’

Ace producer Allu Arvind is known for his humorous talk most of the time. And then he treats the cast and crew of his films as family.

In recent times, the mega-producer revealed it couple of times that heroine Anupama Parameswaran is like his daughter. “If at all I have got a daughter, it would be like Anupama” only, he commented. 

Other day when Allu Arvind attended an event regarding “18 pages” and stated that his daughter Anupama hasn’t turned up at the place, something unexpected happened.

Someone from the crowd started shouting, “Okay Arvind Mamayya”. That split the crowd into huge laughs and even Arvind laughed at it wholeheartedly. 

Even before this happened, already some meme-makers started trending some images on Instagram where they mentioned that most of Anupama’s hardcore fans are now addressing Allu Arvind as Mamayya.

Though this is an old-school joke to call someone as an uncle when he has a beautiful daughter, with Allu Arvind part of it, the joke is getting attention now.
