The makers of Dhamaka earned profits through non-theatrical deals alone, and they pocket massive revenues through the extraordinary theatrical business. The movie heavily banked on Ravi Teja’s mass power, because Trinadha Rao Nakkina is yet to reach the big league and Sreeleela is still a newcomer.
People’s Media Factory promoted the movie vigorously. The success of Dhamaka proves that there is no truth in the assumption of regular mass masala entertainers will no longer survive at the box office and Ravi Teja is one of the biggest stars when it comes to mass and commercial entertainers.
