For the last few days, many doubts have been raised on the release date of Thalapathay Vijay’s new film Vaarasudu. The Tamil version of the film, Varisu, is hitting the screens on January 11. A few reports had stated that the Telugu release will be pushed.
This morning, the film’s producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally held a press meet in Hyderabad. As expected, they postponed the Telugu release. Dil Raju announced that Vaarasudu will hit the screens on January 14, three days after the Tamil release.
He stated that the decision has been taken to accommodate a good number of theatres for star heroes Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna’s films Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy respectively.
As Vaarasudu is postponed now, more number of theatres will be allotted to Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy for two days.
Vaarasudu features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Sangeetha, Jayasudha and Kick Syam played pivotal roles in it. Thaman composed the music for this film.
