‘Without Drugs, Some Parties in T’wood Won’t Happen’

Actress Madhavi Latha, who is known for her bold and sensational statements, is at it again. Responding over the drug-link in Bollywood following actor Sushant Singh’s mysterious death, Madhavi Latha made a sensational comment about use of drugs in Tollywood. The Nachchavule actress stated that some parties in Tollywood won’t happen without drugs. She asked the Taskforce and NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) in the state to look into the issue seriously.

Madhavi Latha, who is also BJP leader from Telangana state, alleged that some of the big celebrities have managed to “escape” from investigation on drugs owing to their high-level “political influence”. Reminiscing the Drug Scandal that broke in 2017, Madhavi Latha alleged that the investigating officer has been transferred to another department and the case has been sidelined.

While she welcomed the decision of the NCB probing the drugs use in Sushant’s case, Madhavi Latha, however, is not optimistic about the final outcome. She opined that influential celebs would anyways get away from such issues. Madhavi Latha’s statements on social media over Tollywood parties have kicked up a furore.
