Veera Simha Reddy First Report From The US Premieres

Veera Simha Reddy starts off with an unexciting narrative and it takes more than 20 minutes to get into the interesting part. The movie’s actual story kicks off with Veera Simha Reddy’s introduction.

Balakrishna as Veera Simha Reddy looks super powerful and the elevation scenes with proper background music are worth watching. Fans go gaga during some of the dialogues like Pub dialogue, Pogaru in DNA, and others. The first half is decent with Veera Simha Reddy’s heroism and elevation. Many scenes with Balayya’s lighting the chutta, arriving in Land Rover Defender and also his Black shirt and lungi attire complimented Veera Simha Reddy’s character very well and looked royal. Rest is all predictable.

The second half is rather slow and sluggish with a routine story unveiled in a dragged mode. There are many routine challenges and counter challenges in the vintage seema backdrop. The emotion in the cringy second half is hard to connect with. There are one too many fights in the movie that might entice fans but only one or two could enthrall the normal audience. BGM is loud and impressive in parts.

Balakrishna’s acting as Veera Simha Reddy is sure to excite fans. Shruti Haasan’s role is very minute. Honey Rose is alright and Duniya Vijay gets a meaty role but his villainy is weak. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar gets a crucial role and she did alright.

Having said that, Veera Simha Reddy is an old routine story with a predictable flow. The run time of Veera Simha Reddy is also a culprit. Overall, Veera Simha Reddy is an average movie that is strictly for fans and the movie could work well in B and C centers given the festival season.
