Tollywood star heroine Samantha is playing the lead role in the latest movie Shaakuntalam. Directed by genius filmmaker Gunasekhar, the shooting of this movie is completed and the pre-production activities are underway.
The first look, teaser and trailer released from this film have already received good response. Now the makers released the first single Mallika Mallika from the film. The song has a soothing tune and captivating lyrics by Chaitanya Prasad.
As director GunaSekhar promised at the trailer’s launch event, it it seems that Mani Sharma’s music will be epic, and this one will simply put everyone in a trance. Samantha’s ethereal beauty and the grand forest visuals will capture everyone’s attention. The enchanting voice of Ramya Behra adds beautiful emotion to the lyrics.
Malayalam hero Dev Mohan acted opposite Samantha. He played the role of Dushyantha Maharaj. It is known that Allu Arjun’s sister-in-law is making her silver screen debut with this movie. Arha will entertain in the role of Prince Bharata.
Shaakuntalam is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam.’ The ensemble star cast includes Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Bala, Gautami and many other notable actors.
The Magnum Opus ‘Shaakuntalam’, will arrive at the cinemas on February 17. To be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, this Gunasekhar-directed film is produced by Neelima Guna and presented by Dil Raju.
