Superstar Decides To Avoid Pressmeets & Interviews

One press meet is enough for Bollywood superstars these days where they will be asked certain questions. And if their answer is diplomatic, everything goes well, but if they are straightforward then the answer gets twisted as it gets broadcasted and that’s it. The likes of Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan and even Akshay Kumar faced the #Boycott trend and lost big box office bets due to that. 

Understanding the current situation, now another Superstar has taken the same decision. Superstar Shahrukh Khan’s latest film “Pathaan” is releasing next week as a Republic Day treat, but the star hero has decided not to hold any press meets or give any interviews to media regarding the same.

From his son Aryan Khan’s arrest by Narcotics Bureau to Deepika Padukone’s orange-coloured bikini controversy, there are a lot of missiles that SRK has to face if he comes before the media now. And any controversial answer might lead to a boycott trend which troubled Amir Khan big way during Laal Singh Chaddha. Considering all this, it looks like King Khan decided to avoid promotions altogether. 

Without promotions, in recent times Drishyam 2 has done an amazing job as it collected ₹240+ crores nett collection already. Even SRK is said to be banking on a similar strategy and now that the two songs from the film have turned out to be chartbusters with 100+ million views for each on YouTube, Pathaan will directly say hi in theatres.
