Big Stars Or Small Films – Who Will Prove In Feb?

Tollywood’s 2023 has opened well with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy minting huge at the box office. While one touched ₹200 crores gross mark, the other crossed ₹100 cores mark quite easily. And now that February is coming, a lot of small films are testing their luck but then there are these big stars that are competing with them.

While we have small films like Suhaas’ Writer Padmbhushan (Feb 3rd release), Sithara’s Butta Bomma (Feb 4) and Kiran Abbavaram’s Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha (Feb 17) hitting cinemas, we have medium budgeted movies like Sandeep Kishan’s Michael (Feb 3) also in the pipeline. Coming to stars, we have Kalyan Ram’s Amigos (Feb 10) and Samantha’s Shaakuntalam (Feb 17) set for a massive release too. Even Dhanush’s first Telugu film SIR is also likely to release on Feb 17th only though promotions haven’t started yet.

Going by trailers and their promotions, almost all the movies are looking promising and definitely a couple of big films and a couple of small movies might click at the box office. If a bunch of them clicks, surely Tollywood’s February is going to be quite more exciting than usual. There are not many holidays and other festive days in February, but still, good content can make it big at any time. Let’s see who is going to prove it!
