Tamil Multi-Starrer Remake – Raviteja Wants Changes?

It is coming out from some time that mass raja Raviteja has joined hands with young hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda of DJ Tillu fame for a film. This is none other than the remake of Simbu’s recent superhit movie “Manaadu” which has the time loop concept. While the original was directed by Venkat Prabhu, here comes a report about the remake.

Reportedly Raviteja is said to have asked the team handling the script to make some major changes to the storyline. This is because, in the original, while Simbu is the hero, SJ Suryah is the parallel lead as he plays the anti-hero quite effortlessly.

If Raviteja reprises Simbu’s role, then Siddhu playing the role of a police officer (played by SJ Surya) will not make sense. Age-wise it will look good if Raviteja plays a police officer, but the actor doesn’t want to do a negative role at this stage of his career where big 100+ crores range hit films are coming his way.

That’s the reason why the production house associated with this remake is said to have assembled a team of talented and popular Telugu writers now to make the necessary changes to the script. Only if the script is convincing, Raviteja will be taking up this remake. Else, he may opt for another story with Siddhu altogether.
