RRR Sets Up A New Record In Japan

It’s more than 10 months since it was released and still, RRR is managing to break many records at the box office. It became an internationally successful movie and also won many global awards. Now, it is setting new records in Japan.

RRR’s Japanese version was released in October 2022. Since its release, it got a tremendous response from Japanese audiences. Already, it became the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan. Now, it became the only Indian film to collect 800 million Yen in the country.

RRR is now the first Indian film to collect Rs. 50 crores in Japan. Even after three months, it is still having a good theatrical run in Japan. According to the trade reports, the film may even collect 1 billion Yen by the end of its theatrical run.

Recently, RRR’s song Naatu Naatu was nominated for the Best Original Song Award at the upcoming Academy Awards. The Oscars 2023 will be held on March 13. Directed by SS Rajamouli, this action epic features Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the lead heroes.
