Legendary filmmaker K Viswanath passed away last night in Hyderabad due to an age-related illness. He was 93 years old. Viswanath’s contribution to Indian cinema and Telugu cinema, in particular, is unparalleled. His films represented the common man and his struggle. He touched multiple layers through his cinema and gave big importance to traditions, values, culture, and art.
