Megastar Setting This Mass Masala Combo?

The news of Megastar Chiranjeevi asking his “Waltair Veerayya” director Bobby Kolli to work on a script that suits Ram Charan has gone viral now. Also with the director confirming that his next will be with another mega hero itself, everyone is now believing that he will be directing Mega Powerstar. But here’s the catch.

Megastar setting up a film for Charan under Bobby’s direction is reminding fans of “Magadheera” days if we have to say. After delivering a stupendous movie like Magadheera, Charan picked up an experimental love story, Orange, and that tanked. Without getting confused then, he has delivered commercial films like Rachha, Nayak and Yevadu back to back. Looks like that situation is prevailing even now.

After RRR, Charan got a big experiment in the form of Shankar’s #RC15. This is an experiment because these days Shankar’s films are not running at the box office as expected. And then, if he picks up Bobby’s film, it will be nothing but doing another Rachha and Naayak like stuff only. When there are directors like Sukumar and Trivikram awaiting to do movies with Charan, one wonders why Megastar wants his son to do some masala films.
