Bedurulanka 2012 Teaser: Adventure Against Biggest Hoax!

Kartikeya’s next Bedurulanka 2012 manages to hold curiosity ever since the first announcement is out. DJ Tillu fame heroine Neha Shetty roped in as the female lead that added to the buzz. In addition, the film’s riveting motion poster and a promo of the ‘World Of Bedurulanka’ have garnered the eye balls. The film’s teaser has been released by Vijay Deverakonda online. Set up in an island Bedurulanka in 2012, the teaser shows the film’s crux is a battle between a free spirited intelligent guy (Kartikeya) and a cunning bunch (Ajay Ghosh & co) that wants to make the most of a hoax. It is revealed that the hoax is all about the gossip that the world will come to an end on a certain date.

“Religious scriptures are meant not just to reach God but also to be put to use for self-enrichment,” suggests a negative character. We are then shown shots of the hero and his team (including Neha Shetty) asking, “Are you ready?”, in Spanish.

Neha Shetty, unlike in ‘DJ Tillu’ where she offered glamour treat, looks like the dreamgirl the hero wishes for. She is not only romantic but is also ready to get into some street-level action with him. This makes it interesting.

Mani Sharma’s BGM seems to have worked in the film’s favour which intensified the visuals. Tehelka dramedy also features Srikanth Ayyengar, Satya, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, ‘Auto’ Ram Prasad, Vennela Kishore and Goparaju Ramana.

Touted to be a package of comedy, human emotions and action, the film is produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni, who has previously made the National Award-winning ‘Colour Photo’. Bankrolled under Loukya Entertainments, the film’s shot was recently wrapped up and Bedurulanka 2012 is hitting the marquee this March.
