Actress Fires On Negative Reviews

The result of a film sometimes depends on word of mouth, and sometimes, various factors come into play. However, the reviews from critics also play a crucial role in deciding the fate of a movie. Although some films will be an exception, most movies will have a successful run at the box office, depending on what has been said in the reviews. In this context, many actors won’t digest the negative reviews and they raise their voices against the same whenever it is relevant.

Now, actress Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar added her voice to the never-ending debate on biased reviews. It is true that sometimes, reviews are written with bias and a particular agenda to tarnish the image of a film. Varalaxmi recently acted in the film Kondraal Paavam. The film opened to negative reviews, and the actress fired on the critics.

“Soon after the release of new films, some people post reviews on social media. They point out a lot of things and post on social media. They will say what is good and what is not good. This has to stop,” she revealed at a press meet.

Kondraal Paavam is the remake of the Kannada film ‘Aa Karaala Ratri’ which was earlier remade in Telugu as Anaganaga O Athithi, starring Chaitanya Krishna and Payal Rajput in the lead roles.
