My Character In Sir Travels Alongside Dhanush’s: Samyuktha

Samyuktha who is enjoying the success of her first two Telugu movies will next be seen in Dhanush’s bilingual Sir which was directed by Dhanush under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.

Samyuktha says she was not serious about her acting career initially. “After completion of my studies, I wanted to do only one movie and put a full stop to acting. But I started loving the process of acting. I found the process very spiritual and divine. I wanted to be versatile. I think I had my best phase after I started doing Telugu movies.”

Though Bheemla Nayak was the first release, Bimbisara was the first movie she signed. “I thought of signing new movies, after the release of these 2 movies. I came to Hyderabad for the shoot of Bheemla Nayak. I went to the set and met everyone. My producer told me we are doing another movie under our banner. I met Venky and I liked the story narrated by him. The character will be throughout the movie.”

The starlet prepared for her character, before the start of the shoot of Sir. “In Sir, I played the role of a Telugu village girl. I went to some villages in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to find out how are conditions here and how do they behave. Also, I discussed a lot with the director and writer to know better about the character. I also went to schools to understand the body language and the style of wearing saree etc.”

Samyuktha says she’s a fan of Dhanush. “Dhanush Sir’s acting is accepted internationally. He’s working all around Indian languages. It’s exciting to work with stars because we get all the love from their fans by default. Getting a good character in such movies is a big plus. My character’s name is Meenakshi, a biology teacher. My role will be strong along with the role of the protagonist in the movie. My character in the movie travels alongside Dhanush’s character.”

She informs Sir is a wholesome entertainer. “The movie not only gives a good message about the education system but it has entertainment too. There is something to please for all sections of audiences.”

The movie is slated for release on 17th of this month.
