Balayya Asks ₹20 Cr, His Director Asks ₹10 Cr?

One of the super successful senior heroes at the moment is none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna. After the blockbuster show of Akhanda at the box office, Balayya amazed all with Veerasimha Reddy too. And these back to back bonanzas have also made the actor increase the remuneration if reports are to be believed. 

Apparently, Balayya is said to be charging nearly ₹20 crores for his latest film which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi. While this is one thing, the other news is that the actor quoted the same for his another upcoming film as well. But then, a director who has just delivered a super hit with his debut film has almost got okayed his movie with the star hero. But then, he’s said to be demanding his producer to pay him ₹10 crores as they are paying hugely for their hero. 

Of course, the director’s debut film made nearly ₹50 crores in revenues, and it will be a viable thing to pay him 10 crores in remuneration if the film’s budget is just kept under 30 crores. But with the film’s budget likely to touch ₹100 crores, the producer is not willing to pay the director that much and offered him only ₹2 crores and a 20% share in profits from non-theatricals. But the director is said to be not agreeing to that.
