Published by

Actor Dhanush enjoys pan-India stardom. Apart from being a star in Tamil, he also acted in various Hindi and English films as well. He enjoys good popularity in Telugu as well. His films like Raghuvaran B.Tech, Nava Manmadhudu and Thiru are popular among Telugu folks.

Now, he is coming up with his first straight Telugu film Sir. Directed by Venky Atluri, Sir is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual flick which is set to hit the screens tomorrow. It is a commercial drama that showcases the loopholes in the current education system in India.

The trailer got a good response from the audience and the advance bookings are decent as well. The film was censored recently. According to the censor reports, Sir will appeal to the audience who are currently pursuing Intermediate/EAMCET and the ones who have already experienced that course.

It looks like the story will be relatable to all the students in Telugu states. Meanwhile, the makers arranged a few premiere shows in Hyderabad tonight. All tickets for these shows were sold out like hotcakes within a few minutes.

This trend proves that audiences are looking forward to watching this movie. The positive censor talk is also boosting the confidence of the makers. Anyway, we will know the fate of Sir in the next 24 hours. Let’s see if Dhanush scores a big hit with his first straight Telugu flick.

Sir features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadhi, Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani played the other key roles in the movie. Sithara Entertainments has bankrolled the project. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music for it.
