Actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna passed away today. Tarakaratna had been receiving treatment for his brain damage and heart condition from the last 23 days.
Tarakaratna suffered a massive heart attack and fainted all of a sudden at a TDP roadshow in Chittoor on the first day of Nara Lokesh’s political foot march ‘Yuvagalam’ on January 27. The family members including Nandamuri Balakrishna and others have reached the hospital. Earlier today, Tarakaratna’s health condition was reported to be extremely critical.
Tarakaratna was undergoing treatment at Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital in Bengaluru. Tarakaratna was rushed to the nearby hospital in Kuppam. Later it was reported that his heart stopped functioning for some time. A team of cardiology specialists from the US arrived for additional health-related support for Tarakaratna.

Tarakaratna’s wife Alekhya Reddy and daughter were staying in the Bengaluru hospital from the day he was admitted in the hospital. Tarakaratna was planned to be shifted to Hyderabad from Bengaluru for better treatment.
Tarakaratna is the son of Sr NTR’s son Mohan Krishna. Tarakaratna made his debut in film with ‘Okato Number Kurradu’ in 2002. Tarakaratna acted in many films later like Yuvaratna, Bhadradri Ramudu, Amaravathi, Nandeeswarudu. Tarakaratna recently appeared in a web series ‘9 hours’. Tarakaratna was active in politics for TDP and he even campaigned for the party in last general elections.
