Why Mega Daughters Are Picking Routine Stuff?

After looking at the way Megastar Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter Sushmitha Konidela picked up the story of ’Sridevi Sobhanbabu’, many are wondering what is her actual thought process while finalising this story. There is neither a strong conflict between brother and sister, nor an adorable love story between the two cousins who happen to be the hero and heroine, and the said village flavour is also hugely missing.

That brings us to the point that Sushmitha has picked up such a stale story, not for the first time, but her previous production ventures, web series like Senapathi and Shootout At Alair also lack that drama, detailing and engagement factor. Same is the case with the other mega-daughter, Niharika Konidela whose recent web series like Hello World lacks any excitement and freshness. Though her other production venture Oka Chinna Family Story is a bit okay, Nanna Koochi is again bad. Many are wondering why mega daughters are picking up only routine stuff.

When some big production houses of Bollywood are doing terrific stuff in the OTT arena with their choice of scripts, one wonders why the Konidela sisters are picking up the same old TV serial kind of stories. Maybe choosing some offbeat stories and spending more time on the writing part will yield better results for both of them.
